Based in North Somerset, Clide has already had the privilege of performing as a singer and actor in various theatre productions. Most recently in an eight show run at the iconic Theatre Royal in Windsor, where he played the lovable Bob Cratchit in a musical adaptation of ‘A Christmas Carol’. Clide loves nothing more than having the opportunity to share his love of music with audiences both young and old alike. For as long as he can remember, Clide has always had an incredible passion for music, learning to play the guitar at an early age, and joining a local youth theatre group to help set him on his way. Things have moved on quickly since then, with Clide now in his 2nd year at University Centre Weston where he is studying for a degree in Musical Theatre. In his spare time Clide performs these ‘Mini Concerts’ in local Nursing and Care Homes in the North Somerset area, sharing his love of music, and developing his performance skills along the way.

The ‘Mini Concerts’ are one hour long sessions where Clide plays the guitar and performs a selection of classic songs, talking to the residents about his training, past shows, and what it’s like to be a young performer today. The music is specially chosen for each occasion, and ranges from classic tunes from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, songs from the musicals, and even one or two more contemporary songs that have already become classics.
