Based in North Bristol, Jessica has performed as a singer, dancer, and actress in various musical theatre and drama productions, including three shows at our very own Bristol Hippodrome. These shows have included performances in ‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘Carrie: The Musical’, and ‘West End Wired’. In addition to these Jessica has also performed as a solo artist at various live music venues in the Bristol, sharing her love of all types of music with audiences both young and old.
Having spent the last two years studying hard for a diploma in Musical Theatre here in Bristol, Jessica’s hard work and talent has now paid off, with her recently being selected to study at one of the country’s leading performing arts colleges. In her spare time Jessica performs ‘Mini Concerts’ in local care homes in North Bristol, sharing her love of music, and giving their residents the chance to experience live music again without the need to travel.
The ‘Mini Concerts’ are one hour long sessions where Jessica sings a selection of classic songs, and talks to the residents about her training, past shows, and what it’s like to be a young performer today. The music is specially chosen for the occasion, and ranges from classic tunes from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, songs from the musicals, and even one or two more contemporary songs that have already become classics.
