Based in South Essex, Vanessa has performed as a singer, dancer, and actress in various musical theatre productions in the south east, including the beautiful Palace Theatre in Southend. Amongst others, Vanessa’s credits include appearances in ‘Hairspray’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘Into the Woods’, and the wonderful and timeless ‘Annie’.
Vanessa is currently working hard studying for her ‘Diploma in Musical Theatre’ at Essex’s renowned Performers College, which supplies West End theatres, cruise ships, and beyond with a seemingly never ending supply of talented young performers. We have no doubt that all that her hard work will pay off and we’ll soon see Vanessa’s name up there in lights too.
In her spare time Vanessa performs our ‘Mini Concerts’ at care homes in and around her local area. Sharing her love of music, and giving their residents the chance to experience live music again without the need to travel.
These ‘Mini Concerts’ are one hour long sessions where Vanessa performs a selection of classic songs, and talks to the residents about her training, past shows, and what it’s like to be a young performer today. The music is specially chosen for the occasion, and ranges from classic tunes from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, songs from the musicals, and even one or two more contemporary songs that have already become classics.
