Introducing ‘The D-Day Dollies’
As one of the most booked Care and Nursing Home acts in the country, the ‘D-Day Dollies’ really have become famous in their own right. From the VE-Day 75 celebrations in 2020 to the King’s Coronation in 2023, and hundreds of other special performances for towns and cities across the nation, the ‘D-Day Dollies’ have become ‘Mini Concerts’ most famous ambassadors. The work that these young ladies do in Care and Nursing Homes epitomises everything that Mini Concerts stands for as an organisation.
The D-Day Dollies sparkling 50 minute sets of choreographed wartime favourites from the 1940’s, are sure to put a spring in the step and a song in their hearts of audiences both young and old. Including songs from the Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland, and the inimitable Dame Vera Lynn, plus many other vintage classics, the ‘Dollies’ setlist really is the soundtrack of an amazing generation.

The D-Day Dollies will be back on the march touring across the country this May and June, as they come together to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the ‘Victory in Europe’ celebrations and the 82nd anniversary of the’ D-Day Landings’.. The girls will be performing at around 600 venues both big and small across the two tours, providing the soundtrack for events in Care and Nursing Homes from London to Liverpool. The specially designed t-shirt contains the national flags of the countries that participated in D-Day and the Battle of Normandy surrounding the familiar ‘D-Day Dollies’ logo and motto.
