Comments: We recently had the pleasure of hosting the D-Day Dolly solo performer for the start of our VE Day celebrations. Our residents absolutely loved it; from start to finish, the show was full of energy, interaction, and nostalgia. The D-Day Dolly engaged with the audience, encouraging them to sing along — and they did, with big smiles all around. Many were even dancing in their seats throughout the performance.
The residents requested “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary” to be performed again, and she happily obliged, much to their delight. After the show, she graciously stayed for photos with the residents, which added a lovely personal touch.Overall, D-Day Dolly was a fantastic act and a hit with everyone. We’ll definitely be booking her again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
